What plagues job seekers most is the rise of so many recruiters.

The convenience of applying online + the number of job seekers means any one open position is swamped with applications within hours. But you already know that.

TSO is an SPHR who's been looking since last December, has worked with several recruiters and has made the last cut half a dozen times. She was even referred to once as "a first round draft pick", but the job went to somebody else. She has submitted +100 resumes in five months, but doesn't bother with any possibilities more than two weeks old.

It's so damned frustrating, you're right, but you ain't alone. But you already know that, too.
